Maybe you came here to learn more about me as a writer, or perhaps my substack: ‘It’s Just a Game’ brought you here—maybe you accidentally clicked a link or were searching for another Paul Davidson—either way it’s all good, feel free to stay a while and learn a little more about me and my ongoing journey.
As a writer I have been involved in numerous projects for both stage and screen. My debut feature “Robin and the Hoods” which was co-written, has been produced by Silver Reel and Future Artists Entertainment, in conjunction with Sky Originals and was released summer 2024:
I have been fortunate to be commissioned by production companies and individuals in the UK, America and Europe. I am currently attached to write family adventure feature '‘Paige Odyssey” in conjunction with Scrapbook Pictures. I am also in development of an Action/Thriller limited series with Silver Reel and a major European distributer.
Alongside my MA in Screenwriting, I am also a recent alumnus of Jeff Melvoin’s show-running programme “Running the Show,” in conjunction with John Yorke Story and Media Xchange.
I am currently represented by Madeleine Cotter at WGM Atlantic. I have also been mentored by the script developer Karol Griffiths who has worked alongside the Coen Brothers, Seth MacFarlane and Spielberg to name a few. I have multiple TV and Film projects in different genres at various stages of development and am happy to work alone or collaboratively.
After developing my first TV pilot with Sky in Italy, I am now working with Soho Pictures on creating a TV show from my debut novel written with my wife and published in Italy (Watch this space for the English-language version).
“Inseguendo un Sogno”, the forgotten story of Herbert Kilpin, founder of AC Milan has been published with Sperling & Kupfer. Out in bookstores in Italy now, and available online.
